2018 BLUE HILL POPS CONCERT

Paul Sullivan and Theresa Thomason
The 28th annual Blue Hill Pops Concert was a sellout!  Sponsored by the Bagaduce Music Lending Library, Blue Hill Pops was held on Tuesday, July 3 at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill.
A summer-season tradition in Downeast Maine since 1990, this year's festival of "Sounds Around Blue Hill" featured the Grammy Award winning Maine composer and pianist Paul Sullivan with renowned jazz and gospel singer Theresa Thomason.
Other 2018 Blue Hill Pops performers included the high energy duo of Acadian fiddler Gus La Casse and guitarist Peter Lindquist, the Atlantic Clarion Steel Band and the Bagaduce Pops Singers, under the direction of Bronwyn Kortge, singing a medley of songs from the Broadway musicals by Leonard Bernstein in honor of his centennial year.
A big "Thank You" to our major corporate sponsors Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Bianco Provisions, First National Bank, Stanley Subaru and Tradewinds Marketplace.  We would also like to thank all our program advertisers and our generous Blue Hill Pops donors who helped to make this years Pops Concert one of our most successful.
